Galatasaray Steps Up Negotiations to Secure Noa Lang from Napoli

Galatasaray has intensified its efforts to reach an agreement with Napoli over the transfer of Dutch forward Noa Lang. The Turkish champions see the winger as a key target, while Napoli has identified him as one of the players most likely to be moved during the January transfer window.
Napoli’s approach to the winter market has been shaped by financial constraints that require every incoming deal to be balanced by an outgoing transfer. As a result, reducing the number of fringe attacking players has become a priority, placing Lang near the top of the list of potential departures.
Discussions between the two clubs have reportedly accelerated in recent days, with growing confidence that a deal can be finalized. Lang has struggled to fully establish himself in Naples, and both sides are open to a move that would allow him to reset his career and secure more consistent playing time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The proposed structure of the deal is understood to involve a loan fee of around two million euros, accompanied by an option to buy worth thirty million euros at the end of the season. This formula appeals to Galatasaray as it limits immediate financial risk while offering long-term upside.
For Napoli, completing Lang’s exit would create the necessary flexibility to pursue new attacking options. The club is already assessing potential reinforcements, but any concrete moves are expected to wait until an outgoing transfer is officially completed, in line with its cautious January strategy.
