Indonesia’s national team will face a varied set of opponents in the FIFA Series scheduled for March 2026, with Bulgaria, the Solomon Islands, and Saint Kitts and Nevis confirmed as part of the competition. The FIFA Series 2026 is designed as an expanded international tournament involving 48 national teams divided into 12 groups of four. Matches will be played during the FIFA international windows in March and April, giving teams regular competitive exposure outside of continental tournaments. While the full match schedule has yet to be released, FIFA has emphasized that the competition focuses on development and competitive balance by bringing together teams with diverse profiles.
Indonesia has also been named one of the eight host nations for the FIFA Series 2026, alongside countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and Uzbekistan. All matches will be broadcast globally, ensuring wide international visibility for participating teams. For Indonesia, hosting and competing in this event represents an important step in strengthening international experience, building squad depth, and increasing global recognition on the football stage.
