The Sun Exclusive: Alexander Isak Buys 30,000 Pounds Guard Dog Following Death Threats

Liverpool star Alexander Isak has reportedly spent 30,000 pounds on a highly-trained guard dog after receiving death threats, according to an exclusive report by The Sun journalist Richard Moriarty.
The Swedish Premier League star is preparing to take delivery of a Dobermann to enhance his personal security at his home in Merseyside. Isak has faced intense scrutiny since his 130 million pounds transfer from Newcastle United to Liverpool, a move he reportedly forced by refusing to train.
Furthermore, following Sweden's disappointing finish at the bottom of their 2026 World Cup qualifying group, Isak and other national team members received death threats directed through social media.
A source indicated that Isak has had a high-profile summer due to the difficult nature of his transfer and the huge fee paid for him. "He wants to settle down off the pitch, and getting a guard dog is a vital part of that," the source stated.
Phoenix Canine, the company supplying the dog, described the Dobermann as "a magnificent beast" that is "beautiful inside and out." The purchase makes Isak the latest top footballer to acquire a guard dog, following a recent spate of burglaries at the homes of other players, including Everton defender Jack O'Brien.
