Top Clubs Vie to Sign Bayern’s Michael Olise Next Summer
Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid are reportedly competing to sign Michael Olise from Bayern Munich in next summer’s transfer window. Spanish outlet Fichajes reports that Liverpool are particularly determined to secure the versatile forward, who can operate on either wing or as a central striker.
Olise impressed last season with 20 goals and 23 assists, demonstrating his ability to both score and create chances. Liverpool view him as a potential long-term successor to Mohamed Salah, who is approaching the latter stages of his career, and hope Olise can bolster their attacking options next season.
Manchester City are also pursuing Olise, planning to groom him as a replacement for Bernardo Silva, who is expected to leave the Etihad Stadium in the near future. City’s strong European reputation under Pep Guardiola makes them an attractive option for the young forward.
Despite Liverpool and City’s interest, Real Madrid is reportedly leading the race. The Spanish giants aim to strengthen their attack under Xabi Alonso and see Olise as a perfect fit. The opportunity to join one of the world’s most successful clubs and potentially reunite with French international Kylian Mbappe makes Madrid an especially appealing destination.
