Persib Tops List as Biggest Contributor to Indonesian National Team

Persib Bandung leads all clubs in providing players to the Indonesian national team, with four of their squad members called up by coach Patrick Kluivert. The call-ups come ahead of crucial World Cup 2026 Asian qualifiers against Saudi Arabia and Iraq in early October at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah.
Kluivert selected 28 players in total for the two matches, with Dewa United contributing three players, Persija Jakarta and Malut United two each, and Persebaya Surabaya one. Overall, 12 players from the BRI Super League 2025/26 were called, while the remaining squad members play abroad.
The four Persib players called up include Eliano Reijnders, who joined Persib from PEC Zwolle in August 2025 and has accumulated three appearances for the club, as well as five caps and one goal for the national team. Thom Haye, signed from Almere City, has also been included, with 15 international appearances, two goals, and two assists since debuting in March 2024.
Marc Klok and Beckham Putra are the other two Persib representatives, both rewarded for consistent performances. Klok has made 20 international appearances with five goals and one assist since 2022, while Beckham Putra, aged 23, has played three times for Indonesia since his debut in May 2025 and continues to be a key performer for Persib.
