Real Madrid Eyes Vitinha Swap with Rodrygo Goes in January Transfer Window
Real Madrid is reportedly planning to propose a player swap with Paris Saint-Germain, offering Rodrygo Goes in exchange for midfielder Vitinha during the January 2026 transfer window. Vitinha has impressed significantly with PSG, finishing third in this year’s Ballon d’Or and playing a key role in the club’s treble-winning campaign, including their first Champions League trophy.

The Portuguese midfielder’s style is seen as a strong fit for Xabi Alonso’s tactics at Real Madrid, prompting Los Blancos to consider offering Rodrygo Goes as part of the deal to strengthen their chances of securing the transfer. Madrid believes the inclusion of the Brazilian forward could make the swap more appealing to PSG.

However, PSG appears reluctant to part ways with Vitinha, who is regarded as a central figure in Luis Enrique’s squad. The club already has players with similar attributes, such as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue, and Bradley Barcola, making the potential trade less attractive.

As a result, while Real Madrid shows clear interest in acquiring Vitinha, the proposal faces challenges due to PSG’s concerns over team stability and the strategic importance of the midfielder in their current lineup.
