Persib: Eliano Reijnders Joins Permanently with a Two-Year Deal

Persib Bandung has officially secured Eliano Reijnders on a permanent transfer during the 2025 summer window. The 24-year-old Indonesian national team player was brought in from Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle, putting to rest rumors that his arrival would be only on a loan basis. Despite his contract with PEC Zwolle running until 2027, Persib confirmed the signing as a long-term investment with a two-year contract.
Although the transfer fee remains undisclosed, this move clearly reflects Persib’s commitment to strengthening their squad for the 2025-26 season. The club aims to bolster the right flank and deepen the overall team lineup, hoping that Eliano’s youth and talent will drive strong performances. The management is optimistic that his presence will add fresh energy and help the team reach ambitious goals in both domestic leagues and Asian competitions.
Eliano’s career has largely been with PEC Zwolle, where he amassed over a hundred appearances, contributing with goals and assists. Known primarily as an attacking midfielder, his versatility allows him to operate effectively in multiple positions, especially on the right side of the pitch. This adaptability makes him a valuable asset for Persib as they look to build a more dynamic and flexible squad.
Persib’s leadership sees Eliano as a key figure in their strategic plans moving forward. With a focus on long-term success, they expect the young player to play a pivotal role in elevating the team’s performance and helping Persib maintain competitiveness at higher levels. The addition of Eliano Reijnders marks a significant step in the club’s ambition to challenge for titles and make an impact beyond Indonesia’s borders.
