Persib Set for Ratchaburi Test After ACL Two Round of 16 Draw

Persib Bandung have been drawn against Thailand’s Ratchaburi FC in the round of 16 of the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two following the official draw held in Kuala Lumpur. The Indonesian side progressed to the knockout stage after finishing top of Group G in the eastern zone with 13 points, while Bangkok United advanced as the group’s runner-up. As group winners, Persib entered the draw as a seeded team.

Several potential opponents were in the mix for Persib at this stage, including Cong An Ha Noi from Vietnam and South Korea’s Pohang Steelers. Ultimately, the draw paired the team coached by Bojan Hodak with Ratchaburi, setting up an intriguing cross-border matchup in the knockout phase. The pairing places Persib against a fellow Southeast Asian club that finished second in its group.

Other fixtures in the eastern zone include Pohang Steelers facing Japan’s Gamba Osaka, Bangkok United meeting Tampines Rovers from Singapore, and Cong An Ha Noi taking on Australia’s Macarthur. Teams from the western zone were also drawn, featuring high-profile clashes involving clubs from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. The round of 16 will be played over two legs, with first matches scheduled for 10–12 February 2026 and return legs on 17–19 February, where group winners will host the decisive second leg.
