AC Milan Eyes Vlahović Reunion Under Allegri with High-Value Bid

AC Milan has reportedly intensified its pursuit of Juventus striker Dušan Vlahović, aiming to reunite the Serbian forward with his former manager, Massimiliano Allegri. According to Daniele Longo, the Rossoneri have established direct contact with Vlahović’s representatives to explore a transfer, as his four-year tenure in Turin appears to be nearing its end. While Juventus has attempted to reopen contract negotiations with the player’s family, the lack of a formal renewal has opened the door for Milan to position themselves as the leading candidates for his signature.
The negotiations are being spearheaded by Milan's sporting director, Igli Tare, who recently met with Vlahović’s agent, Darko Ristić, in Milan. The two maintain a highly productive professional relationship, having recently finalized the transfer of another young Serbian talent, Andrej Kostić. This existing "Serbian connection" has given Milan a strategic advantage over other pursuing clubs, allowing for smooth and discreet discussions regarding Vlahović’s future. Allegri, who returned to the Milan bench earlier this year, remains a staunch advocate for the move, viewing the 25-year-old as the clinical spearhead needed for his tactical project.
To facilitate this high-cost operation, Milan has adopted a calculated financial approach. By securing Niclas Füllkrug on a low-cost deal, the club preserved the capital necessary to prepare a significant contract offer for Vlahović in February. At that stage, the striker will be entering the final months of his deal, which expires in June 2026, granting him the right to negotiate a pre-contract agreement as a free agent. With Vlahović having already scored six goals in 17 appearances this season, the Rossoneri are determined to capitalize on this window to secure a world-class reinforcement for their frontline.
