Real Madrid Shatters Global Jersey Sales Record; Lamine Yamal Claims Top Player Spot
A recent study by Euromericas Sport Marketing reveals that Real Madrid has become the first football club in history to sell over 3 million jerseys in a single year. As of November 2025, the club recorded a staggering 3,133,000 units sold over the preceding 12 months, setting a new global benchmark for sports merchandising.

The report highlights a significant gap between the top clubs, with Barcelona ranking second (2.94 million) and Paris Saint-Germain third (2.54 million). The top 10 list features a diverse geographical spread, including:
Europe (6): Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, ChelseaSouth
America (2): Boca Juniors, Flamengo
USA (1): Inter Miami
Saudi Arabia (1): Al Nassr

While Real Madrid leads in total club sales, the individual player rankings tell a different story. Barcelona’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal holds the top spot, with 1.32 million jerseys bearing his name sold worldwide. He is followed by Lionel Messi (1.28 million) and Robert Lewandowski (1.11 million).

Although no Real Madrid player reached the top three, the club demonstrated immense brand depth with three players—Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Rodrygo—all appearing in the top 10. Other players in the global top 10 for jersey sales include Giorgian de Arrascaeta, Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, and Harry Kane. This record-breaking year underscores Real Madrid's status as the world's most dominant commercial football brand, even as a new generation of individual stars begins to capture the global spotlight.
