Ajax Boost Their Back Line with the Signing of Former Arsenal Defender Tomiyasu
Ajax Amsterdam have officially secured the services of Takehiro Tomiyasu for the remainder of the season, with a contract running until the end of June 2026. The Japanese international arrives as a valuable addition to a youthful Ajax defense in need of experience and stability.
At 25, Tomiyasu brings a diverse background shaped by spells in England, Italy, and Belgium. His time at Arsenal raised his profile, although a knee injury has kept him sidelined since October 2024 and limited his recent match action.
