Ter Stegen’s Future in Doubt as Premier League Interest Looms

Marc-André ter Stegen has returned to the spotlight after recovering from a back injury and receiving medical clearance. The Barcelona captain has been included in the squad for three consecutive matches and could feature in the upcoming Copa del Rey fixture, depending on tactical needs.

Despite his fitness, Ter Stegen’s standing at the club has changed. He is currently considered the third-choice goalkeeper behind Joan Garcia and Wojciech Szczesny, a situation that has raised questions about his role moving forward.
