Man City and AC Milan Scout Alverca’s Alexsandro Amorim

Manchester City and AC Milan have reportedly sent scouts to monitor Alexsandro Amorim, the 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder playing for Portuguese side FC Alverca. Both clubs had representatives present during Alverca's recent 4-1 loss to Estoril on December 27, 2025, specifically to evaluate the youngster's performance. Despite the defeat, Amorim stood out by scoring a spectacular long-range goal, further validating the interest from top-tier English and Italian clubs.
Amorim's market value has surged rapidly since his arrival at Alverca earlier this season for approximately €300,000 from Brazilian club Fortaleza. Alverca has now reportedly set a valuation of €6 million for 80% of his economic rights, while Fortaleza retains a 50% sell-on clause. With his contract secured until June 2028, Alverca remains in a strong negotiating position as other clubs, including Bologna and several French and Dutch sides, begin to inquire about his availability.
The young midfielder, who has already drawn stylistic comparisons to the legendary Deco, remains focused on his immediate responsibilities despite the growing transfer talk. Following the match against Estoril, Amorim stated that while playing at the highest level is a dream for any player, his current priority is helping Alverca avoid relegation. As the January transfer window opens, his blend of technical skill and professional mindset makes him one of the most intriguing prospects to watch in the Portuguese league.
