1.9m Argentine Centre-Forward! Panichelli’s Market Value Doubles to €25M After 10 Goals in 21 Games

In the latest update to Ligue 1 player valuations by Transfermarkt, Strasbourg forward Darío Panichelli has seen his market value increase by €13 million, reaching a new high of €25 million.

The 23-year-old, standing at 1.9 meters tall, has had a rapid ascent. Last season, while on loan at Mirandés, he shone in the Spanish Segunda División, scoring 21 goals and registering 8 assists in 44 matches to win the Silver Boot. Strasbourg acted quickly this summer, signing him for €16.5 million plus bonuses.

Panichelli made a sensational start to his Ligue 1 career, netting 9 goals in his first 10 league matches. However, the Argentine centre-forward has since hit a slight roadblock, currently enduring an 8-match goal drought. Despite this recent dip, his overall contribution stands at 10 goals in 21 appearances this season.

His performances earned him his first call-up to the Argentine national team in November, where he made a substitute appearance against Angola.
