Barcelona Unveils Fourth Kit Celebrating Club History and Football as Art
FC Barcelona has introduced its fourth kit for the 2025/26 season, designed to honor the club’s rich history and its connection to art. The kit commemorates one of the club’s most iconic victories, the 3-0 win at the Bernabéu in November 2005, where goals by Eto’o and Ronaldinho left a lasting mark on Barça’s legacy. This release reflects the club’s ongoing effort to blend football heritage with creative design.
The new jersey features vertical stripes that appear intentionally unstructured, representing the paths of the ball for each of the three historic goals. Inside the collar, three circles indicate the exact minutes of the goals, while the outer design incorporates the Catalan flag. The accompanying shorts are maroon with blue stripes along the sides, complementing the overall aesthetic.
To highlight the intersection of sport, culture, and fashion, Barcelona released a promotional video starring several first-team and academy players, including Marcus Rashford and Alexia Putellas. The video portrays players entering the studio of an imaginary artist, symbolizing how athletes contribute to the club’s legacy and the creation of unforgettable moments on the pitch.
