Real Madrid Eyes Ryan Gravenberch as Next Major Transfer from Liverpool

Real Madrid continues to demonstrate its ambition in the transfer market by targeting more high-profile names from Liverpool. After successfully landing Trent Alexander-Arnold and keeping Ibrahima Konaté on their radar, the club is now turning its attention to reinforcing the midfield for long-term stability under manager Xabi Alonso.
Reports suggest that Ryan Gravenberch has emerged as a prime target for the Spanish giants. The 23-year-old Dutch midfielder is viewed as an ideal addition who can introduce greater tactical variety and balance to Real Madrid’s midfield. Alonso is said to have personally endorsed the player to the club’s hierarchy as part of his vision for the squad’s evolution.
Liverpool, however, remains in a strong negotiating position as Gravenberch is contracted until 2028. Despite this, Real Madrid is reportedly prepared to offer up to €75 million to secure his services, a figure that could open the door for discussions between the two clubs.
Although Real Madrid already boasts a deep pool of midfield talent, changes may be imminent. Dani Ceballos is rumored to be considering a January exit, and Eduardo Camavinga’s future has also been questioned due to limited playing time. Bringing in Gravenberch could provide both depth and flexibility, allowing him to compete for a defensive midfield role or partner with existing stars to strengthen the team’s balance.
