Sancho, 25, chose Villa over offers from Roma and Juventus, drawn by the promise of regular playing time. Alongside these two, Villa also added Victor Lindelof on a two-year deal from Manchester United, signaling a clear intent to strengthen the squad under Unai Emery’s leadership.

Sancho’s decision to join Villa was influenced by conversations with former Villa loanee Marcus Rashford, as he seeks to revive his career with more consistent minutes on the pitch.
