This year's winners were selected by a panel of experts from various leading European sports publications, including Bild and L’Equipe, among others. Yamal's win places him in a distinguished lineage of past recipients, which includes legends such as Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, showcasing the high expectations set for his future career.

Furthermore, the Best Italian Golden Boy was awarded to Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode, and the Golden Girl Absolute Best 2024 went to Vicky Lopez from Barcelona, rounding out a night that celebrated excellence in football across various categories.
