The prestigious Golden Boy 2024 Award was awarded to FC Barcelona's Lamine Yamal, recognizing him as the most promising young player in European football. The ceremony took place at the International Museum of the Automobile in Turin, where Yamal was celebrated for his outstanding performances throughout the year. Alongside him, Juventus' Kenan Yildiz was honored with the Golden Boy Web award, which is determined by public voting, highlighting his impact on the pitch as well.
The Golden Boy Award, established by the Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport, has a long-standing tradition of honoring emerging talent in football. This year's winners were selected by a panel of experts from various leading European sports publications, including Bild and L’Equipe, among others. Yamal's win places him in a distinguished lineage of past recipients, which includes legends such as Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, showcasing the high expectations set for his future career.

In addition to Yamal's accolade, other awards were distributed during the gala event. Notably, Atalanta’s president, Antonio Percassi, was recognized for his contributions, while Jorge Mendes received the Golden Best Agent award. Manchester City’s Txiki Begiristain was honored as Golden Best Manager. Furthermore, the Best Italian Golden Boy was awarded to Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode, and the Golden Girl Absolute Best 2024 went to Vicky Lopez from Barcelona, rounding out a night that celebrated excellence in football across various categories.
