Saint Mirren will play host to Livingston on Wednesday evening in this round of Scottish Premier League.
St. Mirren are having a fairly quiet form this season to avoid relegation. They occupy ninth place in the relegation group with the same 42 points as Hibernian, two above Aberdeen and three behind Livingston. Last weekend, Stephen Robinson's side beat Dundee FC 2:0 at home to make it two wins in a row, after beating St Johnstone 0:1 at home in a clear attempt to end the season on a high note.
Livingston have had a fairly quiet run in this year's Premiership, narrowly missing out on promotion to the Championship play-offs. In this relegation group, David Martindale's side lead the way with 45 points, three points ahead of Hibernian and St Mirren. Livingston drew 1:1 at St Johnstone last time out, having won 1:0 at home to Hibernian and 1:2 away to Aberdeen. Livingston have now gone four games unbeaten in a row.
This will be an interesting clash and I predict both may get points.
