Atlanta are 17-23 in fourth place in the Southeast Division and 8 ½ games behind No. 1 Miami. Atlanta were beaten by beat Miami 115-91 on Wednesday for the first time in two consecutive meetings between these two sides. John Collins was Atlantas leading scorer with 16 points. The Hawks have lost three of their past four games.
Miami have said they have several players on their inactive roster and recently without starters Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo and four others. Still, Miami have covered the number in five of their last six and the Heat are 8-2 straight up over their last 10 games played.
