Pick Over 2.5
Midtjylland are going through rough times these days. They have just two wins in the opening nine games of the new Danish Superligaen campaign.
The team’s board decided to make a managerial change following the subpar kickoff to the new domestic season as well as the UEFA Champions League failure.
However, the arrival of Spanish manager Albert Capellas did not change much. Midtjylland took just one point from the previous two Superligaen outings against AaB and Nordsjaelland.
The Danish runners-up have scored just one goal in these two affairs. They also failed to find the back of the net in the UEFA Europa League group phase opener against Sturm Graz.
Midtjylland registered only two shots on target in a 1-0 defeat seven days ago on Austrian soil. They will now have a very difficult task to bounce back against Italian heavyweights Lazio.
Speaking of bouncing back, Lazio did so after suffering the first defeat of the season at home to Napoli at the start of the month.
