Minnesota Timberwolves will visit Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night
The Grizzlies are on a ten-game winning streak and are already tied for third in the league with Utah. Memphis led by 11 points in the fourth quarter of a 116-108 home win over the Warriors on Tuesday. The Grizzlies (29-14) had 30 assists on their 44 field goal attempts and made 14 of 34 from the 3-point line. Ja Morant led all scorers with 29 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. Tyus Jones had 17 points and eight assists off the bench for the Grizzlies.
The Timberwolves (20-21) have split their last ten games, half a game behind Los Angeles and eighth in the standings. On Tuesday, Minnesota allowed New Orleans to shoot 55 percent in a 128-125 road loss. Anthony Edwards had a team-high 28 points and five assists on 10-for-21 shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points and eight rebounds for the Timberwolves.
Steven Adams (health and safety protocols) did not participate in Tuesdays win, and his status in this game is uncertain. Those two teams are in the top 10 in pace, and the Grizzlies are seventh in offensive efficiency.
