NBA Match Preview -- New Orleans Pelicans vs Los Angeles Clippers

The Smoothie King Center will host Thursday nights NBA game between the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans.

New Orleans Pelicans
The Pelicans have split their last 10 games, 1.5 games behind Portland and 10th in the Western Conference. New Orleans beat Minnesota 128-125 at home on Tuesday. The Pelicans (15-26) had assists on 33 of their 42 field goal attempts and shot 55 percent overall. Brandon Ingram finished with a game-high 33 points and nine assists on 11-of-19 shooting. Josh Hart had 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists for the Pelicans.




Los Angeles Clippers
The Clippers (21-21) have won back-to-back games and are trying to stay in the playoffs with Paul George out with an elbow injury. Los Angeles led Denver with 13 points in the fourth quarter for an 87-85 home win on Tuesday. Amir Coffey led five Los Angeles players in double figures with 18 points, seven assists and four steals. Eric Bledsoe came off the bench for the Clippers and had 11 points and nine assists.

Prediction
The Pelicans are going all out for this game because theyre only short of Zion Williamson, and the Clippers will be shorthanded because theyll without Luke Kennard and Justise Winslow again. The Pelicans are expected to win this game.
