On Thursday, Malmo will host Luxembourg's F91 Dudelange at Eleda Stadion in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
In the second leg against Zalgiris, Malmo suffered again another loss, ending their journey in the Champions League. Even though they are only three points off the top of the Allsvenskan rankings after beating Sirius 3-1 on Saturday, they are still playing catch-up in the defence of their domestic championship and currently rank fifth after 16 games.
Dudelange suffered a 1-4 loss against Pyunik in the second leg of the qualifying quarterfinals, which cost them a ticket in the Champions League. They have recently been seen on the road recording great performances for only suffering one loss in their last six away games across all leagues - contains a few matches for the Champions League.
While Malmo's struggles against another unimpressive opponent this week cannot be completely counted out, a team with much of European experience should travel to Luxembourg with at least a one-goal advantage.
