The Brooklyn Nets and Chicago Bulls meet Wednesday in NBA action at the United Center.
After their season-best nine-game winning streak ended on the road against the Dallas Mavericks, the Bulls vented their ire on the hapless Detroit Pistons. The 133-87 win over the Pistons last night is their biggest victory of the whole season.Nikola Vucevic led eight Chicago players in double figures with 22 points and eight rebounds. DeMar DeRozan contributed 20 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists for the Bulls. The Chicago Bulls are averaging 110.9 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allowing 107.6 points on 45.7 percent shooting.
In their last ten games, the Brooklyn Nets are only 4-6, and have greatly struggled against teams decimated by injuries and virus protocols. They barely got past the young San Antonio Spurs, who were without four starters and a few key players. On Monday, Brooklyn were outscored by 13 points during the third quarter of a 114-108 road loss against Portland. Kevin Brooklyn tallied a game-high 28 points to go along with ten rebounds and five assists. Kyrie Irving added 22 points, eight rebounds, and four assists for the Nets. The Brooklyn Nets are averaging 110.9 points on 46.9 percent shooting and allowing 108.6 points on 43.3 percent shooting.
The Bulls’ form has been better than that of the Nets in the last few games, which means they are expected to eke out a win on their home floor.
