Finn Harps and St. Patrick's Athletic will face off on Friday at Finn Park, where only 20 points and four teams stand between them.
Finn Harps traveled to face Sligo Rovers last time out after drawing against Derry City, however they were unable to start a better streak. They have had a difficult season thus far in the League of Ireland Premier Division, and they rapidly found themselves battling for position near the bottom of the standings after collecting only two points from their first five games.
St. Patricks Athletic
After a rather strong start to the season, Athletic had 23 points after 14 games until back-to-back draws and a loss to Shelbourne. Eoin Doyle scored a brace in a 2-1 victory against struggling UCD last time out, helping them rapidly go back to winning ways. St. Patrick's will want to intensify their pursuit of the top three with a second straight victory on Friday.
We can only foresee a pretty simple away victory over the underachievers for St Patrick's Athletic, who are in far better form than their opponents going into the game.
