Nashville SC returns to GEODIS Park this weekend for their next MLS clash against Sporting Kansas City, and they are unbeaten in their last 25 games played in the Music City.
Nashville were held to a 0-0 draw by the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday. They let up their fair number of attempts on target (six) last weekend, but such opportunities were rarely in dangerous scoring situations. During the 2022 season, they have yet to lose a regular-season game in which they have taken the lead.
FC Kansas City
Kansas City lost 1-2 to New England Revolution last time out. Vermes and his staff have so far been unable to find a viable solution to their dilemma, winning only once since April, although looking impressive in the US Open Cup, where they are presently in the final eight.
Even when they aren't at their best, the football gods seem to smile down on Nashville SC when they play at home, and we don't think their rock-solid defense will have any difficulty dealing with a Kansas City side that is psychologically and physically depleted.
