Relegation Battle Intensifies in BRI Super League as Persis Solo Face Growing Pressure

The 2025-26 BRI Super League is delivering fierce competition across the standings, from the title race to the relegation zone. Even at the halfway mark of the season, the current table already signals serious danger for several clubs struggling to find consistency.
Persis Solo sit at the bottom of the standings after 14 matchweeks, having collected only seven points. Their campaign has been defined by a lack of cutting edge, with just one win, four draws, and nine defeats leaving them firmly rooted in the danger zone.
That lone victory came in the opening week of the season, when Persis defeated Madura United in August. Since then, they have gone 13 consecutive matches without claiming three points, placing heavy pressure on head coach Milomir Seslija to turn performances into results and lift the team out of relegation trouble.
Joining Persis in the relegation zone are Semen Padang and Persijap Jepara. Semen Padang currently occupy 16th place with ten points, but there are signs of revival after a morale-boosting win over Persija Jakarta, suggesting they may yet escape the drop with renewed momentum.
Persijap Jepara, meanwhile, are enduring an even more difficult run. The newly promoted side sit 17th with nine points and have failed to register a win in their last nine matches. With 19 rounds still to be played, the relegation battle remains wide open, setting the stage for a tense and unpredictable fight for survival in the weeks ahead.
