Chelsea lost 1-2 away to Villa, Asensio scored twice, Rashford provided two assists

In the 26th round of the Premier League, Chelsea played away against Aston Villa. In the first half, Chalobah was substituted after getting injured, and Enzo Fernández scored with a well-timed finish. Watkins’ shot from a tight angle was saved by the goalkeeper, and Nkunku’s curling effort was also stopped.

In the second half, Rashford assisted Asensio to equalize, although Palmer’s curling shot went wide. In the dying minutes, Rashford once again set up Asensio to score, and ultimately, Chelsea were overturned 1-2 on the road by Villa, suffering their third consecutive defeat, while Aston Villa ended a five-match winless streak in the league.
