F.Marinos still miss Ryo Takano to injury and will also be without Kota Yamada, who is with the Japan Under-20 squad.

Rodrigues missed training due to “family matters” last week but made it to the Jubilo bench in last week's win over Vegalta. They still miss Kengo Kawamata to injury.

F.Marinos ran out 4-1 winners over Vissel Kobe in J1 game last weekend. Goals came from Marcos Junior to make it 1-0 at half time, then substitutes Tadanari Lee and Koji Miyoshi (2) scored the rest. The team has been exceedingly inconsistent so far, though, with two 3-0 defeats in their last five league matches. All three of their J1 season defeats have been away from home, though and, especially against a lowly Jubilo Iwata no one will be expecting a home defeat for F.Marinos, surely?! Last weekend saw a 4-1 home win when they were not much better than their visitors, except in the area of finishing! Continue that and they will have no problem here. A close to full strength F.Marinos side crashed out of the League Cup on Wednesday night, losing 3-1 at J2's V-Varen Nagasaki.

Jubilo pulled off an important win last weekend in a J1 relegation battle at home to Vegalta Sendai. The scorers were Adailton and Masato Nakayama. They took advantage of poor defending to score although both goals could well have been saved by the unlucky keeper. Jubilo will be happy with any win but they weren't really impressive in any department and look very much as if they will struggle for the whole season. A second string Jubilo lost 2-0 to Shimizu S-Pulse on Wednesaday in the League Cup but had already qualified for the knockout stages.

I will expect a home win.

Jubilo have just two goals in the first 40 minutes of matches, just three in the 1st half. F.Marinos have scored 10 in the first 40. The home team will be looking for goals early and get one.

In J1 matches between these two teams last season each team won their away game.
