Swansea rode the storm against Leeds at Elland Road last time out and walked away from Elland Road with all three points despite managing just two shots on target all game thanks to a late Wayne Routledge strike. The Welsh side now head into this weekend’s games top of the table with 16 points from six games.

Nottingham Forest extended their unbeaten run to five league games as they secured a point at home to Preston in their last league match but Sabri Lamouchi was disappointed with his side’s performance regardless. Saturday’s visitors managed just two shots on target all game and never looked likely to win against Alex Neil’s Preston side. The visitors have nine points from their opening six league games and sit in 10th place.

The hosts have won nine of their last 11 league matches at the Liberty Stadium and should further improve that record here.

Eight of Swansea’s last nine home league matches have produced over 2.5 total goals while half of Nottingham Forest’s league matches this season have met the same fate. Despite snatching the win, Swansea conceded 22 shots against Leeds so Nottingham Forest should have plenty of opportunities here.

These sides have met just twice in league action since 2011 with Nottingham Forest winning 2-1 at home and drawing 0-0 in the reverse fixture last season.
