MATCH PREVIEW:

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Cambuur travelled to Kerkrade to face off against Roda and they managed to collect another victory. The combination of Jamie Jacobs and Robert Muhren once again proved to be highly successful as Jacobs scored the first goal of the game after four minutes of action. Cambuur had to allow an equalizer in the 33rd minute but pulled off their ninth win of the season when Muhren scored his eleventh league goal of the season after seventy seven minutes. This means Cambuur are now on a streak of eleven games without losing.

Almere City have so far failed to win away from home in the league, drawing three times and losing four. They do enter the game coming off a win over NAC Breda as Youri Loen scored the only goal of the match 65 minutes into the encounter.

Almere have won two from their last three in the league but I don’t see them surprising Cambuur.

SECOND PREDICTION: CORRECT SCORE: 2-1

Almere have lost four times this season, three of their four games saw them lose by just a one goal margin. Cambuur have allowed one goal against in three of their last four. I’m going for a 2-1 home win for this duel.

HEAD TO HEAD:

The sides have met eleven times on Friesland soil for the league. Cambuur have won on 10 occasions, but last season saw Almere beat them 1-0 for the very first time in history.
