Minnesota Utd is listing a healthy squad but Brent Kallman is suspended

The LA Galaxy are listing Romain Alessandrini and Perry Kitchen is questionable.

Minnesota Utd were beaten 1-0 in Seattle to finish the season but did enough to earn a home playoff outing. They enter the postseason in pretty good form with just one defeat in the final five league matches with two wins and two draws and won nine of the last 18 with five draws and four defeats. Minnesota finished tied with Real Salt Lake for third in the West but had to settle for fourth place as Real won more games. Minnesota took 53 points from 15 wins, eight draws and 11 losses with 52 goals for and 43 against. They were seventh best at home with just one defeat, ten wins and six draws while outscoring the visitors 29-13.

The LA Galaxy were doubled 4-2 in Houston in their final league encounter for their second consecutive defeat after being edged 4-3 at home by lowly Vancouver a week earlier. They enter the playoffs with three wins and two losses in their last five games. LA have to play on the road due to their poor finish as they placed fifth in the West. They earned 51 points from 16 wins, three losses and 15 defeats while being outscored 59-58. They were 12th best on the road with five wins, two draws and ten losses and were outscored 34-22.

Minnesota lost just once at home and LA is the worst defensive team in the playoffs. However, Minnesota is making their league playoff debut and I think LA's experience and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will enable them to win in 90 minutes.

Minnesota allowed just 13 goals at home while LA scored only 22 on the road this season. I expect a low-scoring match.

The squads drew 0-0 in Minnesota in April and the Galaxy won 3-2 at home in March in the league. They have met just six times, all in the league, with the Galaxy winning four and drawing two with two wins and a draw in Minnesota.
