Djurgardens lost the derby against AIK Solna two weeks ago. A result that tightened the title race. With AIK Solna, Malmo, Hammarby and Hacken all chasing them, Djurgardens know that they need to win this game. Djurgardens are undefeated in seven straight home games (six wins, one draw) and they have only lost once at home all season.

Helsingborgs beat Ostersunds before the international break. That was their first win inseven games and it took their points tally to 21 after 22 games. Last week they also brought in Olof Mellberg as their new manager, their third of the season. The former Sweden international has been tasked with keeping the team up and rebuilding the squad. Playing the league leaders away from home is the toughest start imaginable for him but he will hope that his appointment can give the squad some confidence. The team have taken just six points away from home in eleven away games this season.

Djurgardens are vastly superior to Helsingborgs and will be huge favorites. The visitors have been poor away from home all season.

Djurgardens have won their last three home games and have a goal difference of 9-0 in those games. Helsingborgs have only scored seven goals in eleven away games and never more than one goal in a game away from home.

Djurgardens are undefeated in their last eight league games against Helsingborgs. The latest win for the visitors came way back in 2013.
