Yokohama have Eijiro Takeda. Ayumu Tachibana and Koki Saito all not fully training, they should be considered doubtful. Abdurahim Laajab is suspended after picking up enough yellow cards.

Vortis miss two of their foreigners – Diego and Sisinio – to long-term injuries.

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Eijiro Takeda. Ayumu Tachibana, Koki Saito

Injured/Unavailable: None

Suspended: Abdurahim Laajab (one game - accumulated yellow cards)

Doubtful: None

Injured/Unavailable: Diego (knee surgery), Sisinio (badly torn hamstring).

Leandro Domingues scored an 87th minute opener for Yokohama last weekend in J2 to give them what everyone thought was the winning goal only for Renofa Yamaguchi to make it 1-1 in the 94th minute and leave Yokohama with just a draw. With just one clean sheet in 12 league matches, they need to score two goals or more to get a win – unless they can tighten up that defence.

Atsushi Kawata gave Vortis a 1-0 home win over Machida Zelvia last weekend in J2. Another wildly inconsistent team – which makes J2 what it is – with two wins, two draws and two losses in their last six matches, but that is an improvement if we consider further back – two wins in nine league games. Away from home in league action they have not won in six, but they do have three draws in there.

Both teams are seeing a goal difference of minus-1 as they both struggle to score more than they concede. Home advantage not seen for Yokohama either, with a win, a draw and a loss in their last three league games at home. All the signs point to a well-fought draw.

Two teams that have been keeping reasonably tight defences but not scoring enough. Vortis have scored more than one goal just three times this season and their last five matches have produced a total of five goals. Yokohama have one win in three at home recently, as they struggle for consistency. It would seem to be a low scoring game. 0-0 or 1-1 very likely

In J2 matches between these two teams last season Yokohama won both games.
