Tractor Boys to roar to victory over Tigers
Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich will once again be without Tom Adeyemi, Andre Dozzell, Danny Rowe and Emyr Huws, who are all still recovering from long-term injuries.
Moses Odubajo and Stephen Kingsley are doubts while James Weir is out with a knee injury for Nigel Adkins’ Hull City.

Ipswich have kept their slim playoff dreams alive after taking seven points from their last three games. However, after back-to-back wins on the road, the Tractor Boys were held to a goalless draw at Portman Road by Sheff Utd at the weekend. Ipswich currently lie 12th in the Championship table, but three points on Tuesday will see Mick McCarthy’s men go within six points of the top six.
Hull City picked up a precious win at the weekend, beating Norwich 4-3 in an absolute thriller at the KCOM Stadium. Those massive three points have lifted the Tigers up to 18th, six points above the relegation zone. Hull have now given themselves a great chance of survival having won three of their last six in the Championship.
Hull City have lost seven of their past nine on the road in all competitions. With that in mind, I’m backing a narrow Ipswich win here.
Ipswich have been drawing 0-0 at half time in five of their last six Championship matches. Put some money on this to be goalless at the break on Tuesday.
Ipswich have not beaten Hull City since May 2008, 11 meetings ago.
