Injuries have dented Goteborg’s hopes of a title chase. They are missing striker Lasse Vibe and midfielder Patrik Karlsson Lagemyr with Sebastian Ohlsson just recently available again. For this game defenders Andre Calisir and Kristopher Da Graca will be suspended as well. Goteborg have three draws from their last four league games and they have slipped to sixth in the table. Last week they lost the lead against Orebro in the 94th minute. The positive note for them is that they have still lost only once in their last 15 league games. A win here is a must if they are to stay in contention for a European spot.

Falkenberg have taken four points form their last two games and have climbed above the relegation zone going into this match week. Last week they took an early lead against Helsingborg but conceded an equalizer in the second half. They have been poor on their travels and have taken just two points away from home all season.

Goteborg are stronger than Falkenberg and their home form is impressive with only one loss all season at Gamla Ullevi. They will be favorites to beat Falkenberg.

Goteborg have kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven home games in the league. Falkenberg have scored only three goals in their last five away games.

The first encounter this season ended in a 1-1 draw. Goteborg won both games back in 2016 when Falkenberg was last in the top flight.
