MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Elfsborg go into this league game having played a tough league match against Malmo away from home, losing 4-1. Their home form is impressive with two wins and two draws so far in the league. Their form has markedly improved since last season and they will not be involved in a relegation fight this year. Jonathan Levi and Pawel Cibicki have really improved the squad and they play without fear. AFC Eskilstuna are the worst team Elfsborg have played by far this season and judging by their performances against Sundsvall and Orebro they will produce goals here.

AFC Eskilstuna had the chance to get their second win of the season last weekend against Falkenbergs but striker Denni Avdic missed the penalty that the team were awarded in the second half and the league game ended 0-0. It was a miserable result for both Falkenbergs and AFC Eskilstuna as both are stuck at the bottom of the table with just five points from eight league games and no win since the opening day.

AFC Eskilstuna are poor and lacking in confidence. Elfsborg are looking very bright, especially at home in Boras, and they should get a win without problems here.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – HIGH

Elfsborg average nearly two goals scored per league game and have scored eight goals in their four home league games so far this season. However, they have kept only one clean sheet. Expect plenty of total goals.

HEAD TO HEAD

Elfsborg have won both of their most recent league meetings against AFC Eskilstuna, but that was back in 2017.
