Almere City will be missing Arsenio Valpoort. Kees van Buuren was brought on in that game, but he could be on the bench with Faris Hammouti playing well.
De Graafschap are missing no players and will welcome back Sven Nieuwpoort from a suspension.

Almere City caused the biggest upset in the playoff semi-finals. They were held 0-0 at home by Eredivisie side Roda in the first leg, so it looked difficult for them. However, star player Silvester van der Water broke the deadlock for Almere in the 31st minute. Roda’s Dani Schahin equalised in the 53rd minute before Faris Hammouti sealed the deal for the visitors as he crushed Roda’s dreams of staying up with five minutes left to play.
De Graafschap have been going back and forth between the Netherlands’ top flight and second tier for years, but they put in a strong performance last time out. They had to recover from a 3-2 loss in the semi-final’s first leg away at Telstar and were involved in another spectacular match at home on Sunday, with Lars Nieuwpoort and Youssef El Jebli putting the Superboeren 2-0 up within the first 25 minutes. Although they conceded a goal ten minutes into the second half, Fabian Serrarens scored the 3-1 shortly later. Telstar’s Andrija Novakovich converted a penalty to clinch extra time, but Darryl van Mieghem then made it 4-2 in the 80th minute to secure a 6-5 aggregate win.
I believe the sides will cancel each other out in this game. Almere’s Van der Water is a threat, but De Graafschap have a better overall squad. I think both sides will score but will hold each other to a draw. To play it safe, Almere City on the +1 market seems a wise choice here.
Eight of De Graafschap’s 11 draws during the regular season saw two goals or fewer while four of Almere City’s seven draws finished 1-1. I think we will see another low-scoring match here.
Almere City beat De Graafschap 2-1 at home during the regular season, but were beaten 4-2 away. The last draw between these sides dates back to May 2015 when they last met in the playoffs.
