Wolverhampton Wanderers: Premier League cannot suffer from Europa League ( Recent Form: D W D W L )

For the first time since 1980, Wolverhampton Wanderers has qualified for the Europa League main tournament again this season. The Wolves finished seventh in the Premier League last season and had to survive three qualifying rounds in the last few months to reach the group stage of the European tournament and the team of Nuno Espírito Santo succeeded. Crusaders FC (Northern Ireland), Pyunik Yerevan (Armenia) and Torino have all been eliminated in recent weeks by Wolverhampton, which will play group duels in the coming months against Sporting Braga (the opponent on Thursday evening), Beşiktaş and Slovan Bratislava. European football cannot, however, prevent Wolverhampton from performing less in the Premier League. That happened to Burnley last season with a long relegation battle as a result and also Wolverhampton, which has already played six European games, the competition started badly with three points from four duels. The Wolves started the Premier League with a 2-0 defeat at Liverpool, then played a draw against Leicester City, Manchester United and Burnley and in the final game before the interlandbreak Wolverhampton fell 3-2 at Everton. The Wolves are still waiting for their first victory in the Premier League and with Chelsea as their opponent it will not be easy for Wolverhampton to take three points this weekend.

Chelsea: Points are missing ( Recent Form: L D D W D )

With Frank Lampard, Chelsea has had a relatively inexperienced manager at the helm since this season. Yet Lampard has played for Chelsea for years and the former English international has shown before the international break with his team that he can let this Chelsea play nicely. Unfortunately for Lampard, this has not really gone hand in hand with grabbing points, as Chelsea is in a disappointing eleventh place in the Premier League. The Blues only won against Norwich City (2-3) and stubbornly lost two points to Sheffield United in the last game before the international break: 2-2. Just like Wolverhampton, Chelsea also expects The Blues to face a busy period, including Premier League matches and European matches. For example, the Champions League duel with Valencia awaits Chelsea next Tuesday and next Sunday The Blues will immediately play another top match when Liverpool is a guest at Stamford Bridge. So it would be ideal for Lampard if he wins a victory over Wolverhampton this weekend, because otherwise the 41-year-old manager of Chelsea will undoubtedly come under light pressure.

After all, Wolverhampton has been unbeaten in the Premier League for ten home games and Chelsea is facing a tough job this weekend. Still, Wolverhampton cannot fully convince me this season, while Chelsea certainly does not play badly, but often leaves points unnecessary. Nevertheless, I don't see Chelsea losing in the Molineux and that's why I go for the Chelsea draw no bet.
