Darren Moore’s West Bromwich have no injury issues ahead of their midweek league clash at The Hawthorns.

The injured Joe Rodon, Leroy Fer and Martin Olsson will miss the trip to the Midlands for Swansea.

After crashing to their heaviest league defeat of the season in a 4-0 loss at Leeds, West Bromwich drew 1-1 against bottom club Ipswich at The Hawthorns in their last league outing. Despite losing two and drawing only one of their last three league matches, the Baggies will still fancy their chances of automatic promotion, although a place in the playoffs seems their most likely destination. They are currently in fourth, nine points behind the top two.

Swansea were supposed to be in a promotion race of their own this season, but Graham Potter’s side have been well off the pace, with the side occupying 15th place at present after a 1-0 loss away at leaders Norwich. Their away form has really let them down, as the Swans have already been beaten nine times in league action at the Liberty Stadium (five wins, four draws), scoring just 19 away goals to boot. A mid-table finish looms for the Welsh club.

West Bromwich will still be hurting by those two recent league losses, but I can see them getting the better of Swansea at The Hawthorns here. Back the home team to prevail in this one.

Even though West Bromwich have only mustered up seven home league victories this season, Darren Moore’s side have scored an impressive 38 league goals at The Hawthorns so far. They have scored two or more in all of those seven wins. Swansea, meanwhile, have failed to score in three of their last five league defeats. Back the home team to win 2-0 here.

Both West Bromwich and Swansea have won twice and drawn twice in the last six league meetings.
