Valerenga have Enar Jaager missing again, with the player struggling to overcome a persistent knee injury. In addition, they are also without Fitim Azemi who has an ankle problem.
Stabaek have Raymond Gyasi, Hakon Skogseid, Ohi Omoijuanfo and Moussa Njie all marked as doubts because of injury.

At the weekend, Valerenga made it five league matches without defeat when they recorded a 1-0 victory over Sandeford away from home. The game was decided in the 55th minute when Sam Johnson slotted home coolly from the penalty spot, his sixth strike of the season. The Oslo club have 15 points in total and occupy fifth place in the Eliteserien table. They have been free-scoring this term, with 15 goals so far, but they have also conceded 13 – and that could well be what holds them back.
Stabaek lost 1-0 at home to the champions Rosenborg in their round nine fixture on Sunday. That result kept them in the relegation placings, with the team occupying 14th spot. Overall, their form has been poor and they have also failed to win in their last six away matches in the league (two draws, four losses), so a trip to face Valerenga will be daunting for them. However, Antonio Ordinas’s team have had rare glimpses of positive play, with one such occasion a 3-2 home win over Lillestrom last month.
Valerenga can pick up another victory against an inconsistent Stabaek side. Ronny Deila’s men will be looking to grind out home win number two of the season.
None of the last four meetings between these two have resulted in either failing to score, with the last two averaging four total goals. I’m going for the same amount of total goals here.
Stabaek have been somewhat of a bogie team for Valerenga of late as they are six league games unbeaten, with four wins and two draws. The last two encounters played in Olso have ended in 1-1 draws.
