-----------------------------------

Valencia: Important period ( Recent Form: L L W W D )

Valencia is on the eve of a very important period. The club from the orange city is currently in a disappointing seventh place, but the gap with number four Getafe is only two points. The moment of truth has therefore arrived for Los Che. Coach Albert Celades will therefore have to find a way to suppress the volatility of the last few weeks. Last weekend's 2-0 win over FC Barcelona was impressive, but a week earlier the coach saw his team lose no less than 4-1 to Real Mallorca. Also in the mid-week cup match against third-class Cultural Leonesa, Valencia did not come out well, although the visitors were still scared after penalties. So every time we have to wait and see which version of Valencia we will see. If the team gets it on its hips, it can handle everyone, but on a bad day it can also lose to any opponent. Despite this volatility, Valencia in LaLiga is still unbeaten in its own Mestalla. In addition, the team can once again have captain Dani Parejo, the absolute star player within the team of Celades.

Celta de Vigo: Must fear degradation ( Recent Form: D W D D D )

Celta de Vigo is perhaps the biggest disappointment of this season in LaLiga. With names like Rafinha, Denis Suarez, Brais Mendez, Santi Mina and Iago Aspas, the Galicians have players to lick your fingers at, but with an eighteenth place they are in acute degradation need. Valencia-out is in all respects a real finale for the men of coach Oscar Garcia. The biggest problem with Celta de Vigo is the lack of scoring ability, because with only seventeen goals in 21 rounds, only Vice-squadron Leganes is doing even worse. Seven of those goals are in the name of Iago Aspas, the only Celta de Vigo player with scoring ability. The club icon would have been suspended this weekend, but saw his yellow card from last week at home against Eibar (0-0) being canceled. That means that he can just make his appearance on Saturday night at the Mestalla. The brand new winter acquisition Fedor Smolov is probably starting on the couch.

THE BETTING VERDICT:

After all, it is no coincidence that the big teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid or Chelsea have a lot of difficulties when guests of Valencia. Saying that, to see a Celta Vigo sank at the bottom of the chart is hard to avoid defeat. Based on what has been analyzed, placing Valencia at -0.5 full time would be a wise choice.
