Valencia: Great home performance (Recent Form: WLLLWW)

Valencia managed to end the really terrible run they went into the last two weeks in a really good fashion, beating Huesca with 6:2 away from home in the weekend in La Liga and this way continuing their battle towards the fourth positions and the Champions League spot for next year. Before that win the club suffered three consecutive defeats, losing to Arsenal with 1:3 in the first leg of the semifinal in the Europa League and also suffering two defeats in La Liga from Atletico Madrid and more surprisingly from Eibar at home. But still, even with this bad period, which was bound to happen sooner or later, they are having a great second half of the season, battling in every competition they are into and being on the verge of a great campaign. The team is currently on fifth place in the table in La Liga, three points behind the fourth in the ranks Getafe with two matches remaining, which means that a place in the top four in the league could happen. Valencia also already reached the Spanish Cup final, where they will face Barcelona later that month and finally, they are in the semifinal phase in the Europa League, where tomorrow the club needs to battle a 1:3 defeat after the first game in England. But given how good the second part of the season is for them and also their amazing home performance overall in the campaign, having in mind that before the defeat from Eibar they were undefeated in twenty consecutive games in front of their fans in all competitions (15-5-0) I think that they have a chance. Kondogbia and Cheryshev are out with injuries, while Rodrigo is a slight doubt.

Arsenal: Awful away from home (Recent Form: DWLLLW)

Arsenal said goodbye to their chances of making the top four in England after a disappointing 1:1 draw with Brighton over the weekend and now the Europa League remains the only competition where they are with hope for something big. However, despite having a 3:1 lead, with the way the Gunners are playing away from home during the whole season and especially in 2019, having lost seven of their twelve visits in all competitions (4-1-7), they will be in a lot of trouble tomorrow at Mestalla. Bellerin, Holding, Ramsey, Suarez and Welbeck remains out with injuries.

The Betting Verdict:

I think that Valencia definitely has what it takes to beat Arsenal tomorrow, not sure whether that will be enough to qualify for the final, but at least for me the victory will be for the home side.
