Toronto FC are right back at it against DC United after picking up a much needed 2-0 win in Philadelphia last Friday night. Man of the match Jonathan Osorio put the visitors out front after 19 minutes and then scored the insurance marker 60 minutes later. The victory snapped a two-game winless skid of a draw and loss and was Toronto's first victory away from home this year. Toronto now has 14 points on the season from four wins, two draws and seven defeats and sit in ninth place in the East. They also have seven wins, eight losses and four draws in their past 19 MLS contests, with three wins, a draw and three defeats at home in 2018.

DC United returned to the pitch last weekend in Seattle and dropped a 2-1 decision. They are now winless in the last two league games with a loss and a draw. United's Darren Mattocks put the visitors in the lead in the 53rd minute, but it didn't last long as the Sounders leveled things just four minutes later. The Sounders then netted the winner with only seven minutes to go. DC United currently possess 11th and last place in the East with nine points from two wins, three draws and six defeats. They have played nine away games this season with a record of one win, two draws and six losses and are still waiting for their new Audi Field Stadium to open. The team has just three victories in their past 18 MLS contests, along with four draws and 11 defeats.

Toronto has been very inconsistent this year, but the reigning MLS Cup champions should be too good for DC United at home.

DC United has opened the scoring in four of their last five matches and I think they can repeat that feat here.

The teams met twice last year with Toronto FC winning 2-0 at home and drawing 1-1 away. DC United has just one win in the last seven meetings along with four losses and two draws.
