Toronto FC is reporting Laurent Ciman and Auro Alvaro da Cruz Junior are as questionable while Ayo Akinola is on international duty.

DC United doesn't expect Donovan Pines, Oniel Fisher, Chris Odoi-Atsem, Antonio Bustamante and Joseph Mora to play while Chris Durkin is on international duty. Defender Marquinhos Pedroso was picked up on waivers from FC Dallas last week.

Toronto FC

Doubtful: Auro Alvaro da Cruz Junior (back), Laurent Ciman (leg)

Injured/unavailable: Ayo Akinola (international duty)

DC United

Suspended: None

Doubtful: None

Injured/unavailable: Chris Odoi-Atsem (illness), Antonio Bustamante (leg), Oniel Fisher (knee), Joseph Mora (jaw), Donovan Pines (thigh), Chris Durkin (international duty)

Toronto FC lost their second straight league game as they were edged 2-1 by the Philadelphia Union last weekend. The Union took the lead after 25 minutes through a Chris Mavinga own goal but Alejandro Pozuelo scored a 51st minute free kick to pull Toronto level. The Union scored the winner in the 68th minute though and TFC couldn't find a second equalizer. Toronto slips to five wins, a draw and four defeats in the league this season with two straight losses at home to go with three victories and a draw. They have outscored the opposition 22-17 this year but have allowed two goals or more against in seven of their ten league games. TFC remains at 16 points on the season and are slowly slipping down the table in the East.

DC United scored an impressive 3-1 home league win over the Columbus Crew a week ago to snap a three-match winless streak at home (one draw, two losses) and then hosted Sporting Kansas City last weekend. They came away from the Sporting league game with a 1-0 win and continue their season with 23 points from seven wins, two draws and three losses. They have conceded 11 goals against in 12 matches, but could do with a bit more luck around the net with just 17 goals scored. They are back on the road in midweek where they have a record of three wins a draw and a loss for one of the best away marks in the league.

Toronto has been inconsistent over the past few weeks with two wins and four losses in their last six league games, including two defeats in a row at home after posting three wins and a draw to start the season. I'm looking for a DC United win here.

Toronto FC's defence has been poor lately. They have been outscored 6-2 in their last three league losses and have given up the game's first goal in their last two league contests. I expect DC United to strike first.

DC United won 1-0 at home last season and the clubs played to a 4-4 draw in Toronto in league action. Each team has two wins, two draws and two defeats in the last six league meetings with DC.
