Stabaek’s Ronald Hernandez, Matthew Rusike, Hugo Vetlesen and Jeppe Moe are sidelined. In addition, they are also without the suspended Tobias Borkeeiet missing from this home league match.

Tromso are without the suspended Mikael Ingebrigtsen. In addition, Simen Wangberg is doubtful with a knee concern.

Injured/unavailable: Ronald Hernandez (international duty); Matthew Rusike, Jeppe Moe, Hugo Vetlesen (all unspecified)

Suspended: Mikael Ingebrigtsen

Doubtful: Simon Wangberg (knee)

Injured/unavailable: None

Stabaek lost their last league game 3-0 away at Viking. It was a dismal performance in Stavanger and a league game in which they had Tobias Borkeeiet sent off. Henning Berg’s men, who are second from bottom, have lost all of their last three league games. However, their home form is fairly solid with seven points from four league games (two wins, one draw, one loss). Their troubles are in the attacking department, where they have scored just six goals this season - a league low. In addition, they have failed to score in five of their last seven league games. They have had just three scorers in 2019: Franck Boli (four goals), Emil Bohinen (one) and Ola Brynhildsen (one).

Rock-bottom Tromso picked up only their second league win of the season when they unexpectedly beat leaders Molde 2-1 at home in their last league match. Magnus Andersen and Robert Taylor scored the crucial goals to fire the hosts to glory. Most of Tromso’s troubles originate from their defensive frailties and this is evident in the fact they have conceded 19 times already this season. There have also been over 2.5 total goals scored in Tromso’s last four league games. Onni Valakari has been one this more consistent performers. The midfielder is an energetic presence and has played all 900 minutes of league action in 2019.

I think Stabaek can win this match. Their home league record is solid enough to be able to predict a win in front of their own fans.

In the two league meetings between these teams last season, there have been two or fewer total goals scored in each. I expect this league game to be another low-scoring affair.

This league fixture at Stabaek finished in a 1-1 draw last season, but it was Tromso who won at Stabaek in league action in 2017, 2-1.
