-----------------------------------

SC Braga: National disappointing, European perfect ( Recent Form: L L W D W )

Thanks to the extremely strong performance in-house, SC Braga won fourth place in the Liga NOS last season. With that, Abel Ferreira's team reached the preliminary round of the Europa League and then moved to PAOK. New teacher Ricardo Sá Pinto had to beat Brondby and Spartak Moscow to qualify and it succeeded. He is now at the helm for seven rounds of games and this was not too successful. With eight points from seven games, the Portuguese sub-topper can now be found in the right row. Last Sunday the club from Braga won the away match against Portimonense SC and that brought hope in the eyes of the Braga supporters. That glimmer of hope was given in European terms last week, when Braga won the (on paper) toughest away match of Group K. In the away match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Portuguese won the opening match of the European adventure. Braga played for a point, but after Ricardo Horta's goal, the team got three. Wolves played a good game in itself, but the counter tactics of Sá Pinto yielded the desired bonus points. Thanks to this great victory, Braga is now second in the group.

Slovan Bratislava: High scoring ability ( Recent Form: L W W W W )

The Slovakian champion had been close to continental football for years. For the past five years, Slovan Bratislava played the Europa League qualifying rounds and this year it was finally time. Thanks to good victories against KF Feronikeli, Dundalk FC and PAOK, Slovan Bratislava qualified for the Europa League. The Slovaks are also doing well in the competition, but that goes without saying for the team of Martin Ševela. The club won eight out of ten games and is therefore the leader of the Slovak league. Slovan Bratislava had a very good start at the European level. Besiktas came to visit and the expectation was that the Turkish subtopper would get the job done for a while. Still, Slovan Bratislava took the lead after fifteen minutes thanks to Andraz Sporar. Even before half-time the Slovaks gave this lead away and so they went into half-time with 1-2. Sporar made his second in the second half and with that they got a nice tie. In the 90 + 3rd and 90 + 4th minute, Slovan Bratislava scored twice and gold substitute Marin Ljubicic proved his worth. With that, Slovan Bratislava recorded its first Europa League victory in the club's history.

THE BETTING VERDICT:

After all, in the Europa League, Braga and Slovan Bratislava are playing very attractive attacks. The proof is in the last 5 matches, the two teams have hit the opponent's net up to 21 times. Therefore, it is likely that many goals will appear in the upcoming match.
