English Premier League -- Southampton VS Everton

Southampton: Six winless games ( Recent Form: L D L L L )

Southampton is under the red line and will remain there even after the game against Everton, unless a difference with thirteen goals is won but that chance is not so great. Of course, The Saints recently lost 0-9 to Leicester City and therefore has a much worse goal balance than the clubs above them. On Saturday afternoon, it is also the first time since that big defeat against Leicester that Southampton will play another game at its own St. Mary’s Stadium. The last two games from Southampton were in fact away games against Manchester City and they were logically lost for the team of Ralph Hasenhütt. In the Carabao Cup it was 3-1 on Wednesday for Manchester City and last week on Saturday The Saints lost in the Premier League 2-1 to the title holder. Southampton took a 0-1 lead early in the game through a goal from James Ward-Prowse, and yet The Saints had to score two goals in the last twenty minutes. The difference between the top (Man City and Liverpool) and the low-flyers of the Premier League is simply too large, as a result of which Southampton was ultimately unable to maintain such a 0-1 lead.

Everton: Horror injury of André Gomes ( Recent Form: L W L W D )

Everton finally hoped to nestle at the top of the Premier League this season, but it already seems like a lost season for The Toffees. It is actually a miracle that Marco Silva is still the head coach at Everton, because the Portuguese are in a disappointing seventeenth place with The Toffees and many clubs with the same material had long and wide fired their coach. On the other hand, it also graces Everton that the club decides to continue to have faith in Silva, which may gradually start performing with Everton. Last round Everton took a point in his own house against Tottenham Hotspur: 1-1. After the game, however, it was not about the draw between Everton and the Spurs, but about the terrible injury that André Gomes sustained after a charge by Heung-Min Son. Initially it was feared that Gomes would never stand on a football field again, but Everton already announced on Monday that the operation was successful and that it is expected that Gomes will recover positively from his injury. However, Gomes is still missing in the coming months. A loss for Everton, because a Gomes in shape makes Everton football a lot better.

After all, last week's draw against Tottenham was not a bad result for Everton, who can show Southampton what kind of quality it has. Southampton cannot convince me at all this season and I cannot imagine Everton losing at St. Mary’s Stadium. I'm going for the Everton draw no bet.
