Bellmare took the lead at home to Nagoya Grampus last weekend in J1. Ryogo Yamasaki converted a PK just before half time before the game ended level at 1-1. Since an opening day win Bellmare have managed to win three more times in the league – all against teams currently in the bottom three. Their form against fellow strugglers might well save them from relegation this year if they continue to pick up these proverbial six-pointers. But against teams not in the bottom three they have four losses and two draws in the league since opening day and are obviously not going to be troubling the top half of the table. With four goals in their last five league matches – two of those in the win over hapless Sagan Tosu – they are not in the best form and have not won at home in three attempts. Bellmare won 1-0 at home over J2's V-Varen Nagasaki in the League Cup on Wednesday.

Trinita won 2-0 against Sagan Tosu last weekend in J1, their goals coming from Ado Onaiwu and Kazuki Kozuka. Trinita continue to surprise those who knew little about them before this season and now sit in 3rd position. They have made the most of a relatively easy run in the last four matches to grab tow home wins and two away draws and should be able to get a couple of wins in this and their next match against Shimizu S-Pulse. Manager Tomohiro Katanosaka has grown with this team, bringing them from J3 to the top three of J1, and knows what his players can do. He will continue to get the best out of them. Trinita went behind 1-0 at home to Vissel Kobe and grabbed a 2-1 win eventually in the league cup.

With their current form Trinita would surely take this game.

Trinita have scored first seven times in the league, four of them away from home. I am expecting a clean sheet for Trinita, to be honest (just six goals conceded all season), so this prediction is an obvious conclusion.

Last season both of these teams were in J2 and we saw Trinita win away and draw at home.
